Butterflies
Spotted a Small White Butterfly continually visiting the leaves of a small patch of Radish plants. As it could not be feeding I suspected it was egg laying on the underside of the leaves. The egg are about 1mm in size and glued in place. In about a week the caterpillars will emerge and feed on the leaves.
Two weeks later the well camoflaged caterpillar on the same plant now 10mm in length.
Ones that escaped the camera lens this month
a) Rabbit.
b) Red Kite Pair.
c) Muntjac Deer & Roe Deer..
